Construction and application
ЗПУ is used as part of КТП Б and consists of a modular building assembled from transportable block containers on a prepared site or foundation. Bolted connections join the containers; the overall building dimensions are not limited to individual module dimensions. Each module is a welded metal frame clad externally with sandwich panels.
Equipment includes cabinets for relay protection, automation and control, electromagnetic interlocks, auxiliary supply, charging and float charging, communications, central annunciation, telecontrol, fire alarms and other functions. Lighting, ventilation, heating or a climate-control system provides conditions required for uninterrupted equipment operation.
The installation may include power-transformer differential protection panels; on-load transformer regulation panels; bus-section circuit-breaker controls; high-voltage line protection; voltage protection; breaker-failure backup (ПРВ); automatic reclosing (АВП); busbar differential protection; directional high-frequency protection; auxiliary supply input and distribution; operating-current controls and uninterruptible operating-current supply; ПВП-1100 AC and ПВП-1200 DC auxiliary panels; central annunciation; high-frequency communications panels; telecontrol panels; and terminal cabinets.
Climatic versions У1 or УХЛ1 under ГОСТ 15150-69. ЗПУ complies with ТУ У 31.2-31681625-021:2010.
