КТПБ М 35/0,4 kV substations in a mobile container module or sandwich-panel modular building use transformers rated up to 4000 kVA to receive three-phase energy at 50 Hz and 35 kV and convert it to 0,4 kV.

Used to supply small industrial, municipal and agricultural consumers.
The source lists these benefits: eliminating intermediate РП10(6) kV switchgear; reducing losses on long lines; improved equipment reliability; convenient and safe operation; short installation, commissioning and start-up times due to factory readiness; and quick dismantling and relocation. The arrangement eliminates intermediate 6(10) kV substations, lowers operating costs and improves safety conditions.
The insulated building comprises three modules: indoor 35 kV switchgear (ЗРП-35), a power transformer, and 0,4 kV switchgear (РПНН). Each compartment is fully assembled at the factory to reduce site installation time and labour.
КРП-35 and РП-0,4 include electric heating, internal module lighting, external substation lighting, air conditioning and fire/security alarms. Domestic or imported equipment may be used in КРП-35 and РП-0,4. КТПБ М 35/0,4 kV complies with ТУ У 31.2-31681625-021:2010.
